Boiler Upgrade Scheme
With the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), you can claim up to £7,500 towards the cost of an Air Source Heat Pump.
From 1st April 2022 the Government has launched their new Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) Where any homeowner can claim £7,500 towards the cost of an Air Source Heat Pump.
The scheme is not means tested and is open to all Homeowners. The scheme will run for 4 years and has a budget of £150M per year. Only Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) Installers can claim the £7,500 vouchers on the customers behalf, which means a significant decrease in costs for the homeowner.
Switched on are approved MCS Installers and have years of experience in this technology. Air source heat pumps are approx 350% efficient and can save homeowners significant amounts on their fuel bills. The cost of a new Air source heat pump can vary between £11k + depending on the type of property you have.
